Insights into Microbial Inner Life Using Single-Molecule Microscopy

At its core, cellular life emerges from precisely coordinated molecular interactions. Our research examines these fundamental processes across all domains of life using an integrated approach that combines molecular biology, advanced microscopy, biophysics, and computational methods. Through single-molecule methods, we observe how dynamic cellular interfaces orchestrate processes in their
native context, revealing molecular choreography andcomplex plasticity invisible to conventional methods. In this talk, tailored for an audience interested in membrane biology, I will showcase examples from our work and outline our vision for future directions. I'll also highlight our technical "fuel" – the methodological innovations driving our discoveries.
